Every Dota 2 patch has its overpowered heroes and 7.31 is no exception. This patch has been around for nearly half a year and the results are clear.

The meta is quite stable at the moment and only a new major patch can change it. Until then, some heroes will be, on average, significantly stronger and better suited for the current meta than others. Here are the top three highest win rate heroes of Dota 2 patch 7.31.

Visage

Visage is a very annoying hero to play against. But he is also difficult to master, which is why most players never touch this overpowered bird. His pick rate is below 2% but his win rate is 54.16%.

Visage excels against melee heroes that heavily rely on physical damage. His Q ability, Grave Chill, creates a massive move speed and attack speed difference between himself and his enemy for six seconds, which is more than enough time to get a kill if the target doesn’t have a good escape mechanism.

The reason why Visage isn’t played that often is related to his familiars, which are hard to control properly and require the ability to multitask. Most people would rather play something less intensive. But in the hands of those who have the necessary APM and mechanical skills, Visage is an amazing pick.

Juggernaut

Juggernaut has a pick rate of more than 20%, which is understandable given how strong he is at every aspect of the game. His Blade Fury and Healing Ward make him highly survivable, his Blade Dance give him great damage and the ability to easily farm the jungle, while his ultimate can be cast with ease and will often kill at least one hero.

Juggernaut has been among the most popular heroes for many years. But Dota 2 patch 7.31 has made him even better than before. His win rate at the community level is currently 54%!

Meepo

Meepo’s win rate this patch has been 54%, but his pick rate is only slightly higher than Visage’s: 2.29%. It’s actually quite surprising that more people pick Meepo than Visage, but maybe the players find it easier to control multiple copies of the same hero than two types of units that have different stats and abilities.

Meepo is often lethal in pubs because people don’t know how to play against him. Left unchecked, he becomes extremely strong early on and then there’s not much that you can do about him. But if you kill him a few times in the laning phase and then obstruct his ability to farm the jungle, victory will be yours.
