The Dota 2 community is buzzing with excitement as Crownfall Act 3 launches. This event has captivated players, drawing widespread engagement and enthusiasm.

In response to the event’s popularity, Valve has decided to extend Crownfall until October. The decision ensures fans have ample time to experience and enjoy all the new content while being able to access previous acts seamlessly.

When Does Crownfall End in Dota 2?

Valve has set the end date for the Dota 2 Crownfall event in October. Initially scheduled to end earlier, the event was extended because of its overwhelming popularity with players. Crownfall Act 3, released on July 10, brought a fresh map filled with snow and cold atmosphere. This new terrain offers players more action, exciting mysteries, and numerous monsters to confront.

What is Dota 2 Crownfall?

Crownfall is an engaging way to experience Dota 2 by blending storytelling with gameplay. Unlike traditional patch notes, Crownfall presents updates in a comic book style, making the updates more engaging for players. This method has enhanced players’ enjoyment and interaction with the game.

Cosmetics are always a significant attraction for Dota 2 users. Yet, the strong focus on lore through Crownfall has been well-received by the community. The positive feedback from past events underscores the community’s appreciation for deep storytelling intertwined with gameplay.

Players have until the end of October to enjoy all current Acts. They can continue to explore the map, unlocking special tokens and collecting treasures, candy, and Crownfall Coins as they progress.

Crownfall Acts Release Dates:

  • Crownfall Act 1: May 14 – June 14, 2024
  • Crownfall Act 2: May 22, 2024
  • Crownfall Act 3: July 10, 2024

Valve originally planned for Crownfall to last a few months, ending in August. Due to its popularity, the event has now been extended until October, beyond the end of The International (TI).

Act 3 introduces a new game mode along with the collector’s cache. The continuation of the comic lore adds more depth and excitement, offering a rich experience for Dota 2 players.
