Doktor’s Curse Returns to Rainbow Six Siege for Halloween 2025

Ubisoft has announced the return of one of Rainbow Six Siege Battle Royale’s popular Halloween events, Doktor’s Curse. The popular limited-time event will go live on October 22, 2025, with the brand-new experience of relocating the event to the Clubhouse map, which has been fully re-skinned to incorporate Halloween-flavored decorations, ambient sound, and music; the new map is designed to be more immersive and chilling, emphasizing the already-familiar limited-time Halloween gameplay that fans already love.

Doktor’s Curse engages players in a game of Hide and Seek. Within this limited-time event, players are sorted into one of two teams: Hunters and Monsters. The attackers will play as Hunters and receive a hammer and tracking gadgets to find and eliminate Monsters, while the defenders will represent Monsters and will use traps and Nightstride abilities to quickly move around the map and become invisible for periods of time. Hunters’ key goal is to find and eliminate all Monsters, while Monsters need to escape the Hunters or outlast the timer. Gameplay is designed to focus on stealth, strategy, and general quick reflexes, making it a unique seasonal mode in Rainbow Six Siege. 

Rewards and Cosmetics

Similar to previous editions, players will have access to exclusive currency and cosmetics for participating in Doktor’s Curse in 2025. Ubisoft has not given a complete list of cosmetics, but insiders report that four new operator skins will be introduced next season. Last year, during the event, players saw cosmetics bundles themed as Deimos, Zofia, and Fenrir, in addition to Buck’s C8-SFW rifle receiving the legendary Memento skin. These collectibles provide added incentives to completely immerse themselves in the Doktor’s Curse event to earn the unique items, which are only available for a limited time.

The Doktor’s Curse will take place between October 22 and November 6, 2025. Players will receive almost two weeks to experience, and to play and complete challenges to unlock all cosmetics and documents. This is beneficial to both casual and competitive players, as there is much to explore in the fully transformed Clubhouse map and the Halloween-themed game mode.
