Recently, two members of the disbanded French team Mirage Elyandra have sued the organization for delayed payments. In addition to alleging problems regarding player payments, there is a lawsuit for poor training conditions in 2022.

These staff members who decided to file the lawsuit report that it is against B&L, an association that acted as an intermediary between them and the French LFL team. According to the information published, one of the players was paid only 20% of his salary, while the other has not received a single cent in the last six months.

Mirage Elyandra failed to live up to expectations

From the very moment Mirage Elyandra embarked on his journey within the LFL; the results were not as expected, of that there is no doubt. This, despite having in their ranks such an experienced coach as Paul “sOAZ” Boyer and Fabian “FEBIVEN” Diepstraten, a great player in the mid laner position.

The team could not climb out of the ditch of the LFL standings in the 2022 season, which undoubtedly set off alarm bells in the organization. In addition, this likely was one of the reasons why they had financial problems.

In addition to the problems in the payment of salaries argued by the players, the issue of training is also pointed out, where the players describe inhumane scenarios for professional players.

According to the players, they lived far from the city; the internet was down on many occasions and even during official matches. They also allege that the meals they received (two a day) were “inedible.” Finally, they also state that any electronic device connected to electricity broke the fuses, making it impossible even to charge cell phones.

Problems start right at the beginning of the 2022 season

From the very moment the season started, rumors began to be heard about possible financial problems on the part of the organization. In addition, in June, many rumors appeared about the possible sale of their place in the LFL due to financial problems.

It got even worse for the organization when Alexander Studhalter, owner of Highlight Event, a marketing company that invested in Mirage Elyandra, was sanctioned for having ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Left without its main sponsor, the team eventually left the LFL.

Another recent detail that has come to light is that Marvin Lagrange, the CEO of B&L, said he has every intention of filing a formal lawsuit against the CEOs of Mirange and Elyandra. This is because they did not fulfill the part of their contract where they offered a budget of $600,000, where, according to Lagrange, they only received $100,000 for the entire 2022 season.
