Features of each of the artilleries in Apex Legends

Frag Grenades

A frag grenade is a flexible weapon that pushes opponents away while offering tactical advantages. This type of weapon works very well against hidden enemies.

Frag grenades are characterized by bouncing off surfaces and sliding down before exploding four seconds after impact. On the other hand, when a player throws the grenade vertically, it detonates immediately upon impact.

At the same time, the damage power of Frag grenades is very powerful; all players within the radius of the grenade suffer a lot of damage. Depending on how far away the opponent is, the damage can range from 1 to 100.

Thermite grenades

When exploding, thermal grenades create a wall of flames that lasts for eight seconds; this artillery is known as a Molotov cocktail in the game. The power of this artillery is very strong; each enemy that steps on the thermite suffers damage of four burns every second; it also generates prolonged damage of 25 points per burn.

But that’s not all; even against red shields, the damage can accumulate according to the duration, resulting in the opponent’s death. Similarly, termites destroy doors, as do frag grenades or arc trails; however, the DPS effect is slower.

In general, termites can be an excellent negotiation tactic in the battle area, thanks to the wall of flames reaching a six-meter height. This artillery is undoubtedly an excellent choice for Apex Legends players; however, it is the most difficult to use of the three types but proves very useful on impact.

Arc Stars

The last type of artillery is the Arc stars; this type of artillery is based on explosives in the form of shuriken. They can be used to impede the mobility of opponents during combat. Arc stars are attached to surfaces and opponents. On the other hand, Arc stars are much easier to use than the other two types of artillery because the speed of the projectile launch is much faster.

A player using well-aimed arc stars can determine the course of a 1v1 confrontation. On the other hand, this type of artillery has some characteristics in common with the frag grenade, as it can damage doors. However, the damage largely depends on the distance between the explosion and the object.

However, the effects of Acr Stars can vary; this type of artillery can slow down the action and temporarily impede vision. They also briefly disable tridents.
