For years, Call of Duty and Battlefield ruled over the first-person shooter game world. They are known as the big dogs, and many shooter games have been aiming to defeat their record. And now, the Delta Force: Hawk Ops is back to shake things up. 

We’re not just spilling another game shooter here. This is the introduction of the legendary Delta Force: Hawk Ops in the genre. 

But the real question is: Can it actually kill off Call of Duty and Battlefield? Or is it just another flash in the pan?

Delta Force: Hawk Ops is back with a serious punch! After 25 years of defining the genre, Delta Force is ready to show off the new generation of what it’s all about. 

This first-person tactical shooter is once again reborn as a free-to-play game, with stunning graphics and loaded with new amazing guns. It brings the player alive once more!

However, despite the name of Delta Force brought to the players, we can’t deny that Call of Duty and Battlefield, dominated their pace to impress the game world community. 

Since its debut on PlayStation in 2004, Call of Duty has grown into a multi-faceted gaming experience that most players love. 

This insane shooter game encompasses crazy multiplayer matches, cooperative zombie survival mode, battle royale chaos and even old-school arcade. 

On the other hand, Battlefield also put its name in the line. Over the two decades, since it debuted in 2022, it has seen its ups and down. 

From golden age titles like Battlefield 3 to more recent disappointments like Battlefield 2042. But even with the rough patches, it’s still one of those games that everyone talks about.

Gameplay Mode

Delta Force Hawk: Ops has three ways to play: 

• Tactical Turmoil: This is like a high-stakes treasure hunt where you fight others to grab loot.
• Havoc Warfare: Big battles with lots of players and vehicles. Think of it as a massive shootout.
• Campaign: A story mode based on the movie Black Hawk Down.

It leans more about tactical and realistic approaches. This game focuses on teamwork, precision and planning. Expect intense fights, stealth operations, and realistic weapon handling.

While Call of Duty is a face-paced and pumping action. It has core gameplay modes:

• Multiplayer Mode: Play against other players online.
• Story Mode: Play through a story.
• Zombie Survival Mode: Fight off waves of zombies with friends.

You’ll be experiencing various scenarios, from tight corridors and open battlefields. Call of Duty focuses on quick reflexes, intense multiplayer matches, and explosive set pieces.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops looks amazing! The graphics are super realistic and make you feel like you’re right there in the thick of an action. 

It’s like watching a high-quality war movie, but you’re the star. The game world looks so real, it’s easy to get lost in it. You can expect high frame rates with high settings. 

It’s clear that Delta Force: Hawk Ops aims to set a new standard for tactical shooters in terms of visual fidelity.

However, Call of Duty has its own uniqueness too. The game looks great. The new beta is looking pretty sweet. The movement feels great, aiming is improved, and there are some cool new gadgets to play with.

It also has a clear vision to see what’s going on. It’s better than the previous one, especially when there’s a lot of action. 

Lastly, Battlefield is very interesting in colors and has unique visuals. Every Battlefield version has their own unique characteristics. The maps were huge. It feels like you’re running a marathon just to get to where the action is.

I didn’t feel like I was running forever between fights. It made the game feel a bit slower and less exciting. The weather is cool, but not that exciting. I was really looking forward to experiencing crazy weather like tornadoes and huge storms, but it just didn’t happen that often.

Performance

Delta Force: Hawk Ops performance is a beast! Not only does it look incredible, but it also runs incredibly smooth. Compared to Battlefield, it’s like night and day. I’m getting almost double the frame rate and probably your computer stays much cooler. 

It’s clear that a lot of optimization went into this game. Through its realistic approach, its performance is extreme!

The latest COD Modern Warfare 3 is super smooth! Playing at 120fps makes a huge difference. It feels like you’re reacting faster and everything is just smoother. Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X handle it well, but the Xbox Series X seems a bit snappier.

Using a screen with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) is a must! It makes the game look even better and smoother. The Xbox Series S can struggle a bit, but VRR helps a lot there too. This game is a blast to play with high refresh rates. It’s like having a super power!

At a fresh start the latest Battlefield 2042 is impressive. However, at its launch the game is a buggy mess! 

The game is full of glitches and weird stuff happening. It’s like they rushed to finish it. It runs kinda choppy too. They should have spent more time fixing all the problems before releasing it. But hey, at least the graphics settings look good!

Conclusion

Delta Force Hawk Ops is impressive in graphics and performance, but competing against Call of Duty and Battlefield left a wonder for many players. 

The question is, Will Delta Force Hawk Ops kill the big dogs?

Call of Duty and Battlefield already established a massive fan base and consistently evolve their game over the years. I think Hawk Ops may be unable to replace them. Despite that, the foundation and potential of its development has a solid entry to the FPS genre. 

Hawk Ops could potentially find its own niche and develop more of a player fan base. After all, Delta Force Hawk Ops need to have consistent updates, quality and a community to back it up.
