Count it all in, because Season 2 is bound to be nothing short of a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
Dandadan Season 2 Release Date and Viewing Schedule
Dandadan Season 2 will release on July 3, 2025 featuring characters Momo, Okarun, and Jiji in more wild adventures. Before the series officially becomes available to stream, Dandadan fans can enjoy a special movie event called Dandadan: Evil Eye. It includes the first 3 episodes of the series in a full-length movie. This movie began its screening in several regions beginning on May 30, 2025 in Asia. Then follows June 6 in North America and Australia, and June 7 in Europe.
After it airs theatrically, new episodes will release weekly every Thursday starting July 3, 2025. We don’t know the exact release time yet. But episodes of last season began streaming at 11 a.m. EST (8 a.m. PST), so they will likely use a similar schedule.
Where to Watch
Dandadan Season 2 will be available to fans around the world across several global streaming services. There shouldn’t be a barrier for fans to enjoy all of the new episodes! The season will premiere in Japan on July 3, 2025, with new episodes streaming in Japan on subsequent Thursdays. Internationally, Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu announced they will stream the series, following the same distribution pattern created with Season 1.
Now that you can find shows on multiple platforms, this just allows watchers to choose the service they prefer. So with all these streaming options available, fans can expect no interruptions while watching the supernatural adventures of Momo, Okarun, and the team.
What to Expect in Season 2
Continuing from the giant cliffhanger ending of Season 1, picks up the story with the Cursed House Arc. In here, Momo, Okarun, and their friends must face off against a very psychotic family, who perform dark rituals to appease a mythological creature known as the Tsuchinoko. This Tsuchinoko is a giant man-eating worm that resembles something out of the depths of hell, linked to volcanic eruptions. The Cursed House Arc also introduces us to the Evil Eye yokai, a nasty spirit that takes possession of Jiji.
Now, outside of the Cursed House, season 2 will encompass the Evil Eye and the Kaijyu arcs, expanding the story into new directions. Plus, there are new threats and enemies. Moreover, a significant new enemy, the Avatar of Hatred, emerges, using the powers of the Evil Eye to create chaos. Also, the season will still have the various science fiction and supernatural elements you’d expect. The rhythm training and musical thematic hints drop breadcrumbs for what’s to come.
Conclusion
The release date is settled, and the first episodes of the anime are coming soon, which means Dandadan Season 2 is putting a lot of excitement in the air this summer. So if you loved Season 1’s chaotic mix of ghosts and aliens, make sure to plug back into their crazy world. Why? Because it might get even crazier than before. So, get ready for another wild ride of supernatural madness that you can count on Dandadan to provide.
