Team Vitality has added some recognizable names to its CS:GO roster. Following their defeat to Natus Vincere at the PGL Stockholm Major, the European organization was understandably keen to bring in fresh faces. At the event, it was only Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut that finished with a positive kill to death ratio.

It appears that Richard “shox” Papilon, Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van and coach Remy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam all face the prospect of being released, with Shox and Kyojin having been ineffective during Vitality’s encounter with NaVi. The truth is that the team has been underperforming for some time, with their showing at the recent Major having seemingly been the tipping point.

Who Will Be Joining the Vitality CS:GO Roster?

Reports now suggest that Vitality are closing in on deals to bring in former Astralis veterans Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Reif and coach Danny “zonic” Sorensen. The trio would be a major coup for Vitality, with dupreeh, Magisk and zonic having all parted ways with the Danish organization following their elimination from the Stockholm Major at the New Legends Stage.

Alongside Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier and Zywoo, the new arrivals give Vitality a strong-looking CS:GO roster on paper. While this does not always equate to success, and it would undoubtedly take time for them to gel, Vitality fans will certainly be excited at the prospect.

Speculation surrounding Vitality increased following a now-deleted screenshot posted by Esports Talk host Jake Lucky. The image displayed a foreshadowing tweet from Vitality owner Fabien “Neo” Devide, which surrounded an post from Complexity CEO, Jason Lake. Shortly after the tweet from Lake, Complexity announced the arrivals of Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and William “RUSH” Thomas Wierzba.

Why It Is All Change for Both Vitality & Astralis

The roots of Vitality are in France, with the arrival of three Danish pros taking the org in a slightly new direction. It remains to be seen as to how their new roster would work, with some having speculated that English would have to be spoken, with apEX likely to be kept on as in-game leader and ZywOo remaining as AWPer.

While there has been no official word from Vitality, their new star-studded lineup has created much excitement in the CS:GO scene. In fact, some fans have even dubbed the roster “Astrality” on social media. Vitality has previously been an all-French team, while Astralis have acquired blameF and Kristian “K0nfig” Wienecke, as well as coach Alexander “ave” Holdt.
