Nordavind Working on Acquiring O PLANO. Having transfer listed their entire CS:GO roster earlier in the week, reports now suggest that Norwegian Esports organization Nordavind are working on acquiring O PLANO.

A report from Globo Esporte and Rush B Media claims that the Brazilian orgless roster could well be announced by Nordavind sooner rather than later. Discussions are well underway between the two parties, meaning that O PLANO’s time without an org could well be coming to an end. Talks “appear to be progressing”, with Nordaving having announced that they would not be exiting the CS:GO scene, despite putting all of their current players up for sale.

Who makes up the O PLANO roster?

Should the deal come to fruition, it would be the first time in which the Brazilian team, made up by Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe, Alencar “trk” Rossato, Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, Leonardo “leo_drk” Oliveira, Vinicius “vsm” Moreira and Henrique “HEN1” Teles, have had an organization to their name. Ex-AWPer HEN1 is a former Furia pro, while the other members of the roster departed MIBR at the beginning of the year.

O PLANO started competing under their current banner back in May, the same time in which legendary Brazilian coach Raphael “cogu” Camargo joined the team. Cogu is a former player coach and manager of MIBR, with the 36-year-olds experience likely to be vital as O PLANO move forward.

How O PLANO has fared to date

The team has played just two events , with a fourth place at the cs_summit in May having been followed by a runner-up placing at the DreamHack Open June North America. The team is understood to be practicing in Poland at present, as they look to compete in Europe after the summer break.

O PLANO is one of the few CS:GO teams to still be utilising a six-man roster. Many others have reverted back to five-man rosters following Valve’s decision at the start of the year to penalize those who substitute players at Regional Major Ranking tournaments. Such events are how teams can qualify for the PGL Major in October.
