This event seeks to break down many of the barriers imposed by society in esports. It also aims to train future generations of athletes and generate conditions of diversity and inclusion in esports.
GX Team Manager Alice “Alimonstr” Lew has commented that competitions of this nature help to provide more opportunities for marginalized genders. In addition, she hopes to normalize the presence of these groups in esports, and that discrimination will be eliminated.
Where can you watch the event?
People wishing to follow all the competitions closely can do so through Complexity’s official Twitch channel. That channel will be in charge of doing all the broadcasts.
