Complexity Gaming has followed in the footsteps of many other leading esports organizations by entering the Halo Infinite scene. The org has acquired the Triggers Down roster, which features a host of Halo veterans, including Jacob “Hysteria” Reiser.

Complexity is more than familiar with Triggers Down, having sponsored the team when they entered Halo back in 2011. Hysteria also featured on that roster, with it being something of a homecoming for the 29-year-old as a result. The American competes alongside Justin “Hunter Jjx” Joseph, Robert “Rob The Turtle” O’Connor and James “TritoN” Bolling, with Zack “SeeSaw” Morris acting as coach.

What Complexity Has Said on the News

Speaking on the news, Complexity assistant general manager, Nick Ridgeway, stated: “Halo Infinite promises a new golden era for Halo esports. Bringing the Complexity brand back to the scene a decade later with this talented roster is a meaningful moment for the entire organization.” Of late, Triggers Down became something of a platform for rosters looking to rebuild after a period of transition.

Whether looking to be acquired by a better-established org or forming a new lineup, the team has a good reputation within the Halo scene. Hysteria and Co are the latest to make the leap from TD, with the roster currently preparing for the upcoming Halo Championship Series Kickoff Major Raleigh 2021 event, which gets underway on December 17.

For Rob The Turtle and TritoN, it is a rapid rise to the top, with the duo having only joined the roster at the end of November. Since then, the team has recorded a top 13 finish at the HCS North America Open Series, as well as at the HCS North America Raleigh 2021 qualifier. Unfortunately, the latter was not quite enough to see them qualify for the Major itself. However, such results do show the significant potential of the roster.

When Will We See Complexity’s Halo Infinite Roster in Action?

Complexity and its new roster will now be hoping to secure a place at the Kickoff Major, as they compete against some 300 other teams in the open bracket this week. Halo Infinite has started with a bang since its release, with the competitive scene set to go from strength to strength. Speaking on this, Hysteria stated:

“The energy and excitement around Halo Infinite is a testament to the franchise’s staying power and the role it has played in the lives of millions of gamers, including myself. Halo Infinite provides an exciting new chapter in my career and for the franchise at-large. To make my competitive reprise representing a brand like Complexity is a truly unique opportunity.”

Fans will not have to wait long to see Complexity’s roster in action, with the team set to battle it out for their share of the $250,000 prize fund, as well as HCS points, between December 17-19.
