Europe returns to the League of Legends World Championship spotlight! The biggest LoL tournament is making a return to the continent after five years – stopping in Berlin, Paris and then London for the final.
This year’s Worlds will be different. There are fewer teams competing and some regions have dropped out. Four teams will be allocated to just the top two regions – Korea and China. That’s because they blew away the Mid-Season Invitational.

Teams Heading to Worlds Divided By Region
The League of Legends World Championship race is getting hot! Although some teams have secured their places, numerous regions continue to be competing for who’ll represent them in the world stage.
That said, some teams have already earned their tickets. Gen.G Esports are targeting MSI 2024 with G2 Esports securing their place with the LEC Summer Split.
After the Gen.G was being qualified at Korea (LCK), the other Korean teams are battling hard to join with them.
China (LPL) is wide open with many good teams still in contention. Competition for those four spots is intense in the new league format.
Europe (LEC) already has one place for G2 Esports. The remaining 2 teams will be determined shortly.
Who will represent North America (LCS) at Worlds remains to be seen. All teams except Immortals are still in contention.
Other regions such as PCS, VCS, Brazil (CBLOL) and Latin America (LLA) are also in the final stages of their playoffs with multiple teams jockeying for those Worlds spots.
It will be a very entertaining end to the regional leagues with teams battling to get into the World Championship!
