COMPLETE League of Legends Patch 15.12 Notes (2)

The new League of Legends Patch 15.12 will give buffs to several champions to enhance their performance in games. Especially those who were not performing well in recent patches. Here are the following upgraded champion buffs:

  • Aatrox: His passive called Deathbringer Stance will now let him heal for 100% from 80% of the damage it deals. His Umbral Dash (E) will also give him more healing so he can last longer in battle.
  • Aphelios: His attacks will be faster since his base attack speed will go from 0.64 to 0.665. His Calibrum (Q) will also deal more damage, making him stronger during early game.
  • Aurora: The buff will make her gameplay better in midlane. Full details haven’t been shared by the Riot Games yet.Bard, Garen, Jax, LeBlanc, Lee Sin, Mordekaiser, Nidalee, Samiera, Twisted Fate, Yasuo will also get buffs that will help them perform better in battles. For example, Mordekaiser gets stronger for every item change that affects his power.

These buffs aim to make these champions even more competitive and fun to use during classic and ranked games.

Nerfing Down Overpowered Champions

COMPLETE League of Legends Patch 15.12 Notes (3)

Besides introducing buffs, Riot games has toned down some champions for the League of Legends Patch 15.12. This is done to keep the game fair as some champions are too strong and popular in recent matches. Here are the changes:

  • Champions, namely Kalista, Taliyah, Varus, Ahri, Azir, Gwen, Yorick Neeko, Rumble, and Senna had high win rates and picks recently. Due to this, certain abilities and stats are nerfed to bring them back in line.
  • For example, Gwen and Kalista have been dominating the matches. Their power will be reduced to make the game more balanced.

These changes are aimed to lessen these champions from overpowering others and give more room for variety during champion picks.

Adjustments to Improve Champions’ Gameplay

COMPLETE League of Legends Patch 15.12 Notes (4)

League of Legends Patch 15.12 didn’t only focus on nerfs or buffs. They also made adjustments for some champions to enhance their abilities and gameplay. Here are the champions who had adjustments:

  • Rammus will get a rework to the parts of his kit. His passive will now enable him extra attack damage based on how much armor and magic resistance he has. His Powerball (Q), and Soaring Slam (R) will be enhanced, making him a better tank.
  • Vi will also undergo some changes to keep her balanced in both casual and pro play. Riot’s goal is to make her strong and fun to play with without making her overpowered and complex to use.

These updates will help these champions become balanced and usable in all types of matches.

Item and Rune Changes For Better Game Balance

League of Legends Patch

Changes to items and runes that affect the gameplay experience will also have some changes. This includes:

  • Atakhan: This item will be adjusted to better fit the current meta. The goal is to keep it useful for players without making it too strong or a must-pick item.
  • Some Runes have been also tweaked to make them more balanced during different matches and playstyle. This encourages the players to have more variety in rune set-up instead of using the same one repeatedly.

These League of Legends Patch 15.12 upgrades provide a healthier and more diverse gameplay environment for all players.
