The ongoing Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025 continues building momentum as the developers rolled out recent changes regarding the competition format and how the prize pool is now getting adjusted. One of the major updates includes a reduction in the total prize for Stage 5, along with the confirmation of match dates for the important Stage 3 and 4 rounds.

Championship Finals Prize Amount Adjusted

Activision has recently confirmed that the World Championship Finals prize pool has now been modified to $850,000 USD. Earlier expected to be a million-dollar showdown, the remaining $150,000 has been shifted over to the Stage 4 prize pool instead. The change shows more emphasis being placed on regional battles, likely to motivate teams in earlier stages with stronger incentives.

The full prize distribution for the World Finals itself hasn’t been shared yet, but it’s expected to come out sometime before the last stage begins. As of now, the dates and times for these global finals are still not confirmed, although they will follow once Stage 4 wraps up.

Stage 3 Regional Matches Begin in July

With Stage 3 getting near, the regional qualifying phase is going to kick off in early July. This stage brings together top-performing squads from all major regions for direct competition, with the first set of matches landing on July 5 and 6. The regions involved include North America, Europe, LATAM, and India.

The next round of regional finals during Stage 3 has also been spaced out across various dates:

  • LATAM: July 10–11
  • Europe, India, North America: July 12–13
  • Japan: July 26–27

Teams performing well in this phase will then advance to Stage 4, where the pressure rises even more.

Stage 4: Regional Finals Take Spotlight from Late July Onward

As the competition narrows down, Stage 4 steps in as the last major hurdle before the global finale. This stage invites only the top teams from Stage 3 and pits them in more structured and high-stakes regional finals. Spanning across several weekends, the schedule allows wider viewing possibilities and less overlap between regional games.

Stage 4’s group matches have been spread out as listed:

  • LATAM, North America, Europe: July 26–27 and August 2–3
  • Japan: August 9–10
  • India: August 9–10 and August 23–24

Then, we get the final leg of the regional playoffs, which determines the last set of teams entering the grand championship:

  • LATAM: August 16–17
  • Europe, Japan: August 23–24
  • India: August 30–31
  • North America: September 6–7

Other territories such as China, Africa, and Garena-based regions are expected to get their separate schedules, which haven’t been posted yet.

Although there’s still no exact timing revealed for the ultimate World Championship Finals, fans now have a much clearer picture of how the rest of the tournament is playing out. With prize pool changes and a structured series of match dates in place, the journey toward crowning the 2025 COD Mobile champion is gaining intensity.

Players and fans are advised to keep an eye on updates via the official channels. As tension rises and skill levels become more fine-tuned, the coming months are shaping up to deliver some of the most competitive moments in the game’s esports scene so far.
