Call of Duty: Mobile is heading into new territory with Season 7: Phantom Current. The update brings fresh gameplay, deep-sea themes, and new rewards. Players can expect an all-new RC-XD racing mode, the first-ever appearance of Gulag in Battle Royale, and a solid mix of mythic gear, events, and collabs.
Gulag Lands in Battle Royale & Skill Overdrive Wildcard
For the first time in COD Mobile, the Gulag comes to BR as a limited-time feature on Isolated. After getting eliminated, players enter a 1v1 duel. Win, and you redeploy. Lose, and your squad needs to buy you back. Everyone gets one free entry each match, but more can be bought using Gulag Tickets. It changes how second chances work in BR.
Skill Overdrive in multiplayer adds a twist: it lets you equip an extra Operator Skill. It adds more offence, but at the cost of needing to rethink how you approach fights. It’s more useful for players who lean aggressive.
New Multiplayer Mode: Mini Mayhem RC-XD Racing

Mini Mayhem is a brand-new multiplayer mode where players take control of RC-XD cars and race across maps. You’ll dodge traps and race through checkpoints in solo or 8-player formats. The mode includes multiple laps, respawning, and its own leaderboard. Winning races gets you vehicle skins and leaderboard standing.

The Phantom Current Battle Pass includes deep-sea-themed content and usable firepower.

- MG 82 LMG: Fast rate of fire, big mag size.
- Bomb Drone Scorestreak: Sends a targeted blast.

Events, Caches, & Collabs
Challenge Pass is back. Complete Standard, Special, and Elite missions to earn tokens, which can be traded for stuff like Soap – Toxic Splash, Tak-5 Propeller, and Jet Skies camos.
Secret Caches offer grind-based rewards. Work through the tiers to unlock the Legendary RUS-79U – Mystical Lamp.
A collaboration with Girls’ Frontline brings Scylla as an Operator, a Legendary ASM10, and other cosmetics, challenges, and Strongbox loot.
Store: Mythics, Lucky Draws & Vault Content
This season’s Mythic headliner is Dark Shepherd – Phantom, along with the AS-VAL – Shadow Marksman and Soldering Edge scythe. Themed kill effects and visuals included.

Season 7 got a Double CP Event, where players can get twice the amount of CP after purchase, but it’s only for a limited time. This bonus can be claimed both in-game and also on the Web Store, though it’s only working in certain regions. At the same time, two older Battle Passes are making a comeback in the Vault — Zombies Are Back from Season 9 and Ultimate Frontier which was from Season 11. Players who missed those can go get them again now.
Whether you’re racing RCs, fighting in the Gulag, or collecting mythics, Season 7 has plenty to keep you grinding.
