Cloud9,NRG, 100 Thieves finalize rosters, Loud likely to split up

Cloud9 round out their super team with the addition of Zellsis, NRG is buying out what’s left of OpTic and LOUD are likely to disband. Is Marved going to Sentinels?

The offseason officially began a few days ago when teams were allowed to sign players, and now we are getting the first rosters revealed. The signs were on the wall and we had a fair share of rumors across these days, but now the scene is starting to unravel. Three of the five North American teams are likely to have their roster secured, with Sentinels and Evil Geniuses still exploring options.

Zellsis rounds out the Cloud9 super team

If it wasn’t clear a few days ago, it sure is now. Reports are coming out that Flex and Initiator player for Version 1 and Sentinels, Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro, is joining the Cloud9 roster. With previous reports of C9 acquiring superstar Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, it seems Cloud9 have completed their roster. Recently, they have let Rahul “curry” Nemani and Mitch “mitch” Semago explore options, paving the way for these acquisitions. They will join the existing core of Vanity, Leaf and Xeppa, creating one of the best rosters in the world.

NRG to sign the Optic lineup

If this offseason couldn’t get crazier, Zekken really leaked this roster for a gifted sub. Per reports, NRG are signing the remainder of the Optic roster including their coach Chet Singh.

With deals being finalized, Pujan “FNS” Mehta, Victor ”Victor” Wong, and Austin “crashies” Roberts are set to join the NRG roster. Considering they need a player for the Operator role that can also flex as a secondary entry, they might be looking to keep Sam “s0m” Oh. He was their Jett and Operator player before switching to a flex role this past year, so he is certainly capable of filling both needs.

Question is, do they find him worthy or cost-efficient enough to justify not going for someone like Babybay? Also, does this mean that Marved is going to be on the Sentinels roster? Reports have come out that Evil Geniuses are likely to pick up the remaining pieces after the roster mania is over and build upon their current team. With C9, 100T and NRG having their rosters in place, Sentinels is the only logical solution for Marved.

LOUD lowballs their players

In an unexpected turn of events, Valorant Champions 2022 winners LOUD have released their coach bzkA. With not much information coming out of the South, this is a shocker to the entire Valorant community. Everyone thought that if it ain’t broken, they wouldn’t fix it. Considering the amazing year the roster has had, you would think that they would try to retain the young but experienced roster to dominate the tier-one scene. Reports are coming out that the players are apparently unsatisfied with LOUD’s renewal proposal and are individually hearing offers from other teams. If the mastermind behind everything is out of there, nobody can fault the players for making the best financial decision for themselves.
