Clash Royale started the month of September on Season 75: Back to Drool and also debuted its next card – the Vines spell. The Vines spell is a new 3-Elixir Epic spell type and has a brand-new mechanic which allows the spell to ‘hook’ onto multiple troops and deals damage over time. Moreover, Supercell has also, rather kindly, offered players a way to unlock it for free through a limited event.

What are Vines?
Vines was released on September 1, 2025, it’s an epic spell and is unlocked at Frozen Peak. When deployed, the Vines spell affects a 2.5-tile radius and will target up to three troops with the highest HP within that distance.

- Immobilization: targets can’t move or attack.
- Damage Over Time: trapped units take damage for 2.5 sec.
- Grounding Air Units: if a flying troop is caught, it is pulled to ground for a while and becomes targetable by ground troops.
This mix of control and damage makes Vines useful for stopping tanks, breaking pushes and countering air units.
How to Unlock Vines Free

Supercell made a way for all players to get Vines card free. No resources needed, only Supercell Store account.
Steps:
- Go to the Supercell Store site.
- Login with your Supercell ID linked to Clash Royale.
- Open special offers section.
- From Sep 1 to Oct 5, 2025, Free Vines Card offer will show.
- After you click Claim, the card will populate into account.
Afterwards the card will appear in collection and can be utilized in battles.
Vines has the ability to stun, deal damage, and even ground air units. It really has a chance at changing the current meta. With it being free for a limited amount of time now would be a great time to collect it before it disappears.
