Path of Legends will see 1,000 players in a monthly qualifier until the top eight players remain, who qualify for the monthly finals. As mentioned, the season runs for seven months, with the same monthly tournaments played.
How do you earn a Golden Ticket in CRL? Each month will have 4 stages. 1000 players can join, but only the best will take a ticket home. Find all the details in our blog: https://t.co/VmJ9YGoZmE#CRL23 #ClashRoyale #クラロワ pic.twitter.com/Z142k3WHnn

Cash prizes will be awarded. Players will win gold tickets and competition points, and we will see epic matches where we will discover the new Clash Royale legends.
World Finals 2023
As in 2022, the World Finals will consist of 16 players. However, two of the places are entirely reserved for Chinese qualifiers. In other words, the players who will participate in the World Finals will be:
- Seven monthly finals winners.
- Seven top-ranked players in the competitive standings
- Two slots for the China region
If you make it to the final stages of the monthly competitions but do not secure first place, you will get competition points. There are seven additional spots in the World Finals for players who have consistently demonstrated their skills but have not won any monthly finals.
In 2022, the World Finals were played in LAN format in Helsinki, Finland, after being held for two years in online format due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For 2023 the LAN format continues, i.e., we will have the best 16 players competing in front of an audience, but this location has not yet been revealed.
World Finals Format
The World Finals will have one group playing in a double elimination format in Duel mode during three days of competitions (November 24-26). As mentioned, 16 participants in this stage will fight for the juicy cash prize amounting to $250,000.
Correction: the total prize pool for the 2023 World Finals will be $900,000 instead of $1,000,000. https://t.co/VmJ9YGoZmE
You can find the updated distribution in our blog. The official rulebook will also be updated soon to reflect this change. #CRL23 #ClashRoyale #クラロワ pic.twitter.com/gqlxmxAoVA

Monthly Path of Legends date and format
The Path of Legends starts next Monday, February 6, 2023, when the top eight teams of the month will qualify for the monthly finals.
Like the World Final, the competition format is Double Elimination and is played in Duel mode.
Finally, the 2023 Clash Royale season will award nearly $1,300,000 in prizes, similar to the 2022 season.
The Clash Royale League decided to move away from the format it adopted in 2022. Where events such as the Golden Ticket tournaments and six weeks of CRL competitions were held. Instead, the monthly competitions used in 2021 are back after listening to feedback from the Clash Royale community.
