How to Max Rewards in Clash of Clans Hero Rush August 2025

Hero Rush is here in Clash of Clans, making heroes always available for use and having clans help each other for rewards. This is a clan event, turning Dark Elixir raids into progress for clan milestones, with Unlimited Heroes, and a 200% weekend boost with the Clashiversary Scenery at the end. If you participated in the Gold Rush event, then Hero Rush operates in the same manner but focuses on heroes.

The event is live in the game from August 13 – August 20, 2025.

The key aspect to Hero Rush is Unlimited Heroes. Heroes may now be used during attacks while being upgraded. By removing down time it allows players to keep attacking during the event.

How Hero Rush Works

The event uses Pop Elixir, a limited-time currency earned in a 1:1 ratio with Dark Elixir. You can get Pop Elixir from:

Multiplayer battles and loot bonuses
Dark Elixir drills
Loot cart
Defeating enemy heroes (Head Hunters are useful for this)

If your Dark Elixir storage is full, Pop Elixir from attacks still counts. But for drills and the loot cart, you need storage space to collect it.

Accessing the Event & Clan Contributions

At the onset of the event, a Soda Stand will pop up in the top-left corner of the village. Tap the Soda Stand and that will open the Hero Rush interface. From the interface you will see your personal progress, clan ranking and collect milestone rewards.

Hero Rush is similar to Gold Rush but is different in the following ways:

A total of 100 contributors per clan can participate, not just 50
If you contribute once, you still qualify for rewards unlocked while you are in the clan
Contributions above your personal rewards cap still count towards the total for the clan’s contributions

Boost Mechanics, Rewards & Milestones

During the weekend, a 200% boost is active. This makes Pop Elixir gain much faster. It’s the best time for clans to push higher milestones. Hero Rush has 20 milestone chests, starting at 250,000 Pop Elixir and going up to 30,000,000.

Examples of rewards:

Early milestones: Splash Medals (e.g., 750)
Middle to high milestones: Large resource bundles, multiple potions
Final milestone: Clashiversary Scenery
Rewards can be claimed right when the milestone is reached. But you must still be in the clan to get them.
