Chapter 3: Epic Games Teases an all-new Fortnite Map

Epic Games subtly hinted that the third chapter map of Fortnite coming up this December will look so distinct and entertaining compared to the map of Chapter 2. Some days ago, the developers of Fortnite, Epic Games hinted subtly that the next chapter’s map will have a different feeling compared to the previous chapter of the game.

This new release will look a lot like what the players saw in 2019 when the famous battle royale started its second chapter. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 came to an end on Dember 4th. This is after 24 months of launching the second chapter, and keeping millions of players spellbound with lots of fun and exciting quests and additions. To commemorate the end of this epic chapter, there will be a large in-game event titled “The End.”

The End Event

As part of the preparation for this event, the players fought it out with the head and creators of the Corruption cubes, the Cube Queen herself, who seeks to destroy all forms of life on the island. At the peak of this fight, the new world was revealed. The theme of the second chapter of Fortnite was centered around a brand-new world and a beginning.

Although the main features of the original chapter were still left intact, a lot of meta was added to the second chapter. The additions included a new Apollo map, a new system that showed your progression rate, and new vehicles for increased mobility. They also added NPCs that elongated the game’s quality of life.
The second chapter of Fortnite also saw a couple of crossovers, and lots of collaboration as compared to chapter one.

Famous movies and TV Series characters made cameo appearances. This allowed players to take the form of their favorite celebrities by purchasing and unlocking different beauty products and make-up. A good example of this is Fortinite’s latest Naruto crossover. This epic collaboration allows players to use the anime warrior’s looks and characteristics in playing the battle royale game.

What has Chapter 3 to offer?

Few days ago, Epic Games teased Fortnite fans on what to expect in their third chapter. In a tweet which featured a picture of the Chapter 3 map, the game publishers implied that the next chapter will be set on a new world where there’d be lots of secrets to unravel. Although this tweet didn’t say much, it made Fortnite fans go haywire with lots of comments airing their thoughts and speculations.

The third chapter of Fortnite will kick off on the 5th of December, but the Epic game has not divulged much about it. A lot of leaks and rumors have been spread by users and dataminers, but it’s just a matter before we know what’s really true and what’s not, and we are all excited to experience this new beginning.
