Las Vegas Legion rescue their second win of the tournament against RØKKR
After being down 1-2 in this series, Las Vegas Legion managed to wake up to win the last two games to take a 3-2 victory over the RØKKR. Undoubtedly, we lived through many emotions from start to finish, and the great level of Donovan “Temp” Laroda prevailed.
The series began at Zarqwa Hydroelectric (Hardpoint), where the Las Vegas Legion got a solid 250-180 victory, which gave them the confidence to continue rowing in this complicated series. However, the RØKKR immediately woke up, and with the help of Cameron “Cammy” McKilligan, they got 6-5 victories in El Asilo (Search&Destroy and Control) to put the series in their favor by 1-2.
Finally, Las Vegas Legion managed to shake off those two blows at Embassy (Hardpoint) to take a 250-193 win and even the series 2-2. With the series even, Temp finished the RØKKR in Mercado Las Almas (Search&Destroy) to take the series win and the $10K.

It all started at Mercado Las Almas (Hardpoint), with Toronto Ultra displaying all their potential, as they were ahead on the scoreboard for most of the game. However, OpTic Texas quickly returned from behind and took a 250-221 victory.
Then, in Embassy (Search&Destroy), OpTic continued playing at a great level, and, with the help of Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro, they achieved a very good victory by 6-4 to put Ultra in check. We then moved to Breenbergh Hotel (Control), where Toronto Ultra was able to close the gap in the series after a tight 3-2 victory.

Seattle Surge crush Boston Breach for the first win of the tournament
The Seattle Surge made a major upset in this second week of the Major V qualifiers, crushing Boston Breach 3-1. As a result, the Surge climb out of the table ditch by picking up their first win, while Boston remains in third place with a 2-1 record.
All games were evenly matched, and either team could have won. It was the Surge, however, who showed great teamwork to take the victory.
It all started in Zarqwa Hydroelectric (Hardpoint), where the Surge gave the first blow in this series to the Breach with a score of 250-219. While Boston came very close to winning, they ultimately fell short against a Daunte “Bb” Gray, who was at his best. Then, at El Asilo (Search&Destroy), Sib and Makenzie “Mack” Kelley led the Surge to put the series at 2-0 thanks to a close 6-5 win.
On the third map, Breenbergh Hotel (Control), Boston Breach got the first and only win in this series 3-1, thanks to Ben “Beans” McMellon, who had a K/D Ratio of +2.23. Finally, the Surge closed the series with a hard-fought 250-227 win at Al Bagra Fortress (Hardpoint).
