Call of Duty League 2023 Major II – Preview

With the CLD 2023 Major II Qualifiers now over, it’s time to move on to the main event we all want to see and enjoy, the LAN in Boston. All eyes of the Call of Duty community will be on Boston this weekend to watch their favorite teams and players give it their all on the servers.

There is big money, CDL points, honor, and much more on the line this weekend when the Call of Duty League Major II is played.

Call of Duty League 2023 Major II

The second top-level Call of Duty League event of the 2023 season will be hosted by the Boston Breach, hosting a Major for the first time. This event will be played at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway over four days of Modern Warfare 2 action.

There is no doubt that OpTic Texas arrives as a firm candidate to win the trophy after the magnificent Qualifiers they played. However, the New York Subliners will be there ready to repeat as champions of the Major after taking home the season’s first title in December.

The first day of the competition will have some exciting matches, and each will likely be at the highest level. So, you can’t miss a single match in this Call of Duty League 2023 Major II.

How to watch the CDL Major II

The Call of Duty League 2023 Major II will be streamed directly from the official Call of Duty Twitch channel. Well, let’s remember that Twitch is the new home of the Call of Duty League during the 2023 season.

But, as happened in the Qualifiers, there are also other alternatives. One of them is the popular Watch Party of Call of Duty legend Seth “Scump” Abner and other well-known personalities from the CoD community.

Major II Format

Major two is divided into the winner’s Brackets and the elimination Brackets. The former comprises the top eight teams from the Qualifiers that have just finished. Those who lose will move on to the elimination brackets.

Teams that lose in this stage will be eliminated from the second round and have to try again in the third round.

CDL Major 2 Prize Pool

The winning team of Major II will not only earn 65 CDL Points to solidify its place on the overall CDL leaderboard and take home the lion’s share of the juicy $500,000 prize pool.

The prize pool will be distributed as follows:

• First place: $200,000
• Second place: $120,000
• Third place: $80,000
• Fourth place: $40,000
• Fifth and sixth place: $20,000
• Seventh and eighth place: $10,000
