Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Reveals Every Operator Available at Launch

fragster James Steward 11. November 2025

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will arrive with a completely new cast of Operators, marking a large shift in the mechanic of cosmetic progression in the franchise; none of the Operators/skins/character-related weapon cosmetics from Black Ops 6 will continue forward, meaning every player will have a new collection and path to unlock and have a uniform start amongst the player community.

New Foundation for Player Customization

The launch roster of Operators is all built for the new narrative direction of Cold War and covert operations. Each Operator will have its own unique visual identity, thematic styling, and opportunity for players to start creating their own expressions of player characters in this early game. The reset also allows the team to realign towards a visual tone of grounded military style, focusing on tactical realism mixed with stylized identity for the characters.

Players who purchase the Vault Edition are immediately offered access to the Operator Collection, a collection of curated exclusive launch skins for operators. These admittedly also open up a thicker suite of ongoing player character expression opportunities on day one and also increase the potential for a more character-based cosmetic design focus. The confirmed collection of Operator skins will include

  • Karma – Tech Guardian
A high-utility tactical suit with refined armor components and sports an overall, sleek, reinforced combat profile.
  • Harper – Warranty Breaker
The inspired look utilizes quality, practical, and battle-worn design aspects that express its durability of field modifications by the owner.
  • T.E.D.D. – Aether Assembly / Service Supreme
A mechanically enhanced Operator variant that sports two themed visual aesthetic choices taken from the iconic Call of Duty design history
  • Reaper EWR-3 – Mind and Metal
A futuristic combat model emulating an exo-inspired look, with elements of reinforced plating, machine precision, thin-profile look.

All included skins are cosmetic only and do not bear any impact on gameplay performance, and therefore lend to a fairness aspect across the multiplayer modes.

A New Path to Progression Moving Forward

The Black Ops 7 Operators reset sets the stage for continuous seasonal content after launch, event unlocks, and future character drops, with an entire set of Operator characters starting in the same place around skin. While there may not be an absolute linear process of insulated meta progression and gameplay mechanic advancement, the ability to enhance each player’s evolving identity in the game is an ongoing promise of character and skin acquisition.

It is anticipated that the Operators and skins continue to roll out weeks after the launch and into the launch season’s update, and hype for long-term engagement with an array of different customization options.
