At the time of writing, the levels of other players are no longer displayed in the multiplayer lobby of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Previously, players could see the level of their teammates and opponents in the game’s multiplayer lobby, unless specific players hid their level. Now, no other players’ levels are visible—only your own. Our Martin also started Call of Duty and can confirm this, although he did see a level displayed for one player. Once a game has started, players’ levels are visible.
It is not known whether this is a bug or whether Activision has decided to disable levels in lobbies by default, but many fans suspect the latter. This is in an attempt to discourage players from leaving a lobby when they see that their opponents’ levels are too high. Activision itself has not yet issued a statement. There is also no mention of this in the patch notes for the fourth season.
The fourth season of Black Ops 6 and Warzone started yesterday. As announced last week, this fourth season will bring new multiplayer maps and modes.
