Brawl Talk June 2025: Trophy Road Revamp, New Brawlers, Modes & More

fragster Ahsan Kabir 22. June 2025

Supercell has dropped one of the biggest Brawl Stars updates in a while. There are a lot of changes, like a full overhaul of the Trophy Road system, fresh game modes, new cosmetics, and more. Not to forget, two new Brawlers are joining the roster soon, and Records have also been introduced to replace Mastery. Players now have a lot to explore as the season moves on.

Trophy Road Overhaul

Trophy Road has been completely redesigned. Instead of a basic straight-line system, now players will move through various themed zones in Starr Park, such as Retropolis or Town Square. It’s more like a journey now, where every trophy pushes you through the park’s map instead of just unlocking things one by one.

Also, the rewards now are much better. Players can earn Brawlers (rare and super rare ones), coins, Power Points, and even Legendary and Hypercharged Starr Drops. This means that certain Brawlers will no longer be unlocked through Starr Road and are only available on this new Trophy Road path.

On top of that, the trophy cap got raised. Earlier, it used to stop at 50,000 trophies, but now players can grind all the way up to 100,000 trophies. Supercell also teased that more zones will be added in future updates.

New Hypercharges

This update brings 9 new Hypercharges for Brawlers, launching in two seasonal batches. Each of them makes changes to how the Brawler fights or interacts with enemies:

  • Lumi blasts twice during her Super.
  • Doug gives his normal attack to the allies he brings back.
  • Kit gets faster and bounces Yarn Balls while healing.
  • R-T starts shooting rotating lasers around himself.
  • Chuck dashes to any station and leaves steam behind.
  • Shade does max damage with Super, doesn’t need perfect aim.
  • Mo drills go further and stay longer on the field.
  • Draco gets longer and wider flame attacks.
  • Bonnie stuns with cannonball jumps and drops, damaging teeth.

It’s clear that Hypercharges will become even more crucial going forward, especially in higher-level matches.

Mastery System Replaced by Records

The Mastery system has been replaced with something called Records. Instead of grinding Brawlers one by one, now players get tasks assigned through fictional Starr Park employees. These Records involve completing challenges—some are just winning games, but others have specific goals like taking out every opponent in a solo Showdown match.

You get Record Points by completing them, which raises your overall Record Level. That level unlocks special battle card cosmetics and other rewards, like Titles and Legendary Star Drops. Supercell says it’s meant to be more rewarding and not as grindy as Mastery used to be.

Two New Brawlers: Alli and Trunk

Two Brawlers are set to join the game this season. First is Alli, a Mythic Assassin type who lives in Love Swamp. She’s quiet but sneaky. Her ability lets her dash from water or bush tiles, and her Super makes her invisible while also doing more damage to tankier enemies. She gains speed when enemies nearby are low on HP. Her skin (Hunter-Gatherer Alli) will cost 29 Gems.

In August, we get Trunk, who is technically a trunk-shaped robot controlled by ants. He’s a tank-class Brawler that throws ant clusters. The ants hurt enemies, and Trunk becomes stronger when near them. His Super leaves a trail of ants that slows and damages opponents. His alternate skin will be Swimming Trunk, complete with summer-themed flair.

Angel vs Demon Event

A new special event theme comes in the form of Angel vs Demon, featuring skins, gameplay modifiers, and cosmetics. Skins like Demon Mortis and Dark Angel Edgar are back, and new ones include Angel Meg, Angel 8-Bit, Demon Fang, Demon Gus, and Demon Bull. Some of these might be available only for a limited time.

Brawl Stars Upcoming New Skins

In addition, the current Brawl Pass season is called Legends of the Underworld, which gives players Hades Mortis with three Chromas: Serapis, Pluto, and Persephone. Other themed skins include Hypnos Sandy, Pegasus Berry, Icarus Bonnie, and more—all inspired by mythology.

Then there’s the Knights of the Starr Table event planned later. It brings medieval-styled skins such as King Starrthur Bo, Knight Amber, Knight Doug, and Knight Jacky, with updated effects and animations.

And don’t forget the Pro Pass, going live on July 17. It features a transforming Dynamike skin called Possessed Dynamike, which changes across ten different tiers.

There are more cosmetic options this season than before:

  • Biker Buster shows up looking ready for trouble.
  • Eggsplosion Tick is exactly what the name says.
  • Jackpot Griff is still unlucky at winning.
  • Phantom Poco returns with fresh polish.

Interestingly, there’s also Kit Chromas based on real cats belonging to Supercell staff. These include names like Yuki, Mariano, Siamese, and Guismo. A strange but cute addition.

Also, apparently Barley’s head is shinier. That’s… a thing now.

New Modes: Dodgeball, Trophy Stealing, and More

Three different game modes are being added:

  • Dodge Brawl is basically dodgeball. Teams throw dodgeballs at each other, and the first to 10 points wins. Timing and dodging are key.
  • Knight Fight changes Trophy Thieves a bit. You can’t throw trophies anymore, and while holding them, you can still fight, so strategy’s different now.
  • Token Run is a modified race mode. No more jumping, and tokens must be collected in order. It’s harder and needs more planning.

Brawler Tweaks and Balance Adjustments

A couple of Brawlers got deeper reworks:

  • Bull now slows enemies at the end of his charge. If his Stomper Gadget is used, the first enemy hit by the next Super gets stunned.
  • Doug’s Super now heals, tracks better, and fully revives him if Fast Food Star Power is active.

Draco’s Super now shows a timer, and Chuck’s stations will be visible during teleport delay. Even the tutorial got reworked to make things clearer for new players.

Supercell also confirmed its appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, with in-game bonuses likely during that time.

This update is packed with content and clearly meant to refresh many of the game’s core systems. Whether you’re here for new skins, gameplay tweaks or pushing past 50k trophies, there’s something for just about every kind of Brawl Stars fan.
