Brawl Stars September Brawl Talk Leaks: New Brawlers Ziggy & Mina Revealed

fragster James Steward 25. August 2025

The September 2025 Brawl Stars update will not only have two new Mythic Brawlers, Ziggy and Mina, but also a Subway Surfers crossover, a new Hypercharge, a new solo mode and more. We will take a look at all the things coming.

New Mythic Brawlers: Ziggy & Mina

In this update you will encounter two new Mythic Brawlers, each with their own game-changing mechanisms that will definitely involve a shifting meta.

Ziggy – Storm Controller

  • Ziggy – The Storm Controller: Ziggy is a long-range control Brawler that has been designed to punish enemies that choose to bunch up and works best on open maps. Ziggy’s Mechanics are precision, zoning, and storm.
  • Attack – Lightning: A delayed lightning strike that delivers area damage. Range: very long. Reload: very slow.
  • Super – Storm: Summon a storm that travels through enemies, and walls. If enemies are standing in the center of the storm, they are slow, but they are slowing the storm itself.
  • Gadgets: Storm bolts: calls down some lightning that targets nearby enemies (13s cooldown).
  • Storm warp: Teleports Ziggy to the location of his attack (13s cooldown).
  • Star Powers: Static Surge: Super slows enemies by 20% for 1 second.
  • Overcharge: subsequent attack after hitting an enemy does 30% of the damage.

Playstyle: Ziggy is very strong when it comes to zone control. His very slow reload time makes accuracy paramount, though every time he hits a target he can change the fight dramatically.

Mina – The Wind Dancer

Mina introduces a three-phase attack cycle, making her one of the most versatile and skill-dependent Brawlers in the game.

  • Attack – Three-Phase Cycle: Phase 1: Small hitbox, long range, low damage. Phase 2: Medium hitbox, mid-range, balanced damage. Phase 3: Large hitbox, short range, high damage. Missing a shot resets the cycle to Phase 1.
  • Super – Typhoon: Creates a violent typhoon that throws enemies into the air, disrupting formations and offering huge crowd control.
  • Gadgets: Wind Wall: Creates a 3-second shield wall that blocks enemy projectiles. Cyclone Chain: If her Super hits, Mina instantly gains another Super.
  • Star Powers: Breeze of Life: The third attack heals Mina for 50% of the damage dealt. Rooted Storm: Her Super also roots enemies in place after landing.

Playstyle Summary: Mina thrives in close encounters and 1v1 duels. With her cycling attacks and healing potential, she’s unpredictable and perfect for smaller maps.

Ziggy dominates open maps, with his storms controlling large areas. Mina excels in tight spaces and duels, using her healing and combo potential to outplay enemies. Both are expected to heavily influence the competitive scene depending on the map and mode.

Subway Surfers Collaboration

Brawl Stars is teaming up with SYBO Games for a limited-time Subway Surfers event running for 4 weeks. Each week transports players to a new city such as New York and Berlin.
