In celebration of the World Cat Day, Brawl Stars launched a thematic event called Kit Challenge. The time-based experience has competitive challenges, exclusive cosmetics, and high-stakes gameplay that players can drop into to test their abilities in variating modes. It also initiates the start of a multi-part event that is focused on the highly popular character Kit and a set of cat-related rewards.
Event Schedule
The main event of Kit Challenge takes place in three consecutive scenarios, different in terms of their window. The Yuki Kit Challenge is the first one which is being run at the moment and extends until August 2, 2025. This shall be succeeded by the Mariano Kit Challenge which will take place between the 2nd and 4th of August and followed by the Guismo Kit Challenge which runs between the 4th and 6th of August. The structure of each of these challenges is the same as it includes six obligatory victories, three lives as an initial parameter, and unique skin obtainable during the event with no more than one being offered at a time.
Game Modes and Map Rotation

The stages aren’t just different in name; each one uses a separate game mode and map setup:
- Stage 1: Brawl Ball – Center Stage
- Stage 2: Hot Zone – In the Liminal
- Stage 3: Brawl Hockey – Slippery Slap
How Kit’s Challenge Works
In this challenge, players are required to win six matches total. These wins are divided over three different stages, and each stage needs two wins to progress. Everyone starts off with three lives, and once those are lost, players won’t be able to move forward unless they spend Gems to continue. The last reward, after hitting that sixth win, is the Yuki Kit skin, which is only available during this limited-time event and not through other means.
Reward Milestones

Every win also gives out rewards, so players don’t walk away empty-handed even if they don’t finish:
- 1 win – 1 Starr Drop
- 2 wins – 100 Bling
- 3 wins – 1 Starr Drop
- 4 wins – 100 Bling
- 5 wins – 1 Starr Drop
- 6 wins – 100 Bling and the Yuki Kit skin
Upcoming Kit Challenges
Kit’s Challenge got limited retries and exclusive rewards, which makes every match feel a bit more intense than what players might be used to. With the maps rotating and the game modes shifting between stages, you’ll need to adjust fast if you want to stay in it. Only having three lives adds pressure, especially since those unique skins are only around for a short while. With more of these challenges arriving in early August, anyone who enjoys competitive setups and chasing cosmetics has good reason to keep checking in. Whether you manage all six wins or not, each try still adds to the overall progress during this brief World Cat Day celebration.
