Brawl Stars June 2025 Balance Changes: Full Patch Notes, Nerfs, Buffs, and Brawl Arena Changes

Supercell is bringing in another maintenance break for Brawl Stars, and this time it’s full of changes across Brawlers, Arena features, and in-match mechanics. The update includes nerfs, buffs, and tweaks that target the evolving meta in both regular and Arena modes.

Brawler Stat Changes

Kenji got hit with several downgrades. His Hypercharge now takes longer to build (cut down to 25% from 35%), the pull from it has 75% less force, and the knock-up part has been completely removed. Lumi’s Star Power, Half-time, had its slow time cut to just 1 second, which used to be 2.

Updates Focused on Brawl Arena

Arena’s leveling system was adjusted a lot. Many Brawlers don’t scale as strongly per level anymore, which will probably change how players pick and play them in that mode.

Weakened Brawlers:

  • Janet: Her damage growth per level is now only 4% (before it was 9%).
  • Ash: Health bonus lowered to 550 (from 750), damage boost drops to 3%.
  • Jae-yong: Health increases now to 550, and reload speed gains only 2% each level.
  • Lumi: HP boost is now just 300 per level. Damage goes from 6% to 2%, and the movement speed increase is reduced to 5 from 8.
  • Jacky: Gains just 500 HP and 2% damage when leveling up in Arena now.
  • Clancy: Damage bonus reduced to only 1%. Robots, he calls, don’t contribute to his passive income anymore either.

Improved Brawlers:

  • Tick: Gets 5% more damage and 3% reload speed per level now.
  • Meeple: Health up to 550, damage scaling raised to 4%.
  • Stu: Also now receives 550 HP and 5% more damage per level.
  • Mortis and Gene: Level-up health raised to 650 each.
  • Fang: HP now 550 with 5% bonus damage per level.
  • Gus: Slight bump with 650 HP and 4% damage increase per level.

Core Gameplay System Changes

XP sources and rules got moved around a bit. Jungle robots now give less XP (110, down from 120), while lane robots give more (40 instead of 35). The bounty system’s threshold went up by 20%, so now a bigger XP difference is needed for bounty to activate. Also, damaging towers now counts less toward being a Star Player.

Projectile shots can now go through terrain. The sound effect from leveling up has been made quieter. A few technical bugs are cleaned up too—Jacky’s gadget doesn’t work like a shield anymore, Kaze’s visual bug is fixed, and watching Arena matches should be more stable.

Changes to Objectives and Structures

Kaiju is now tougher with 50,000 HP instead of 40,000. Towers can fire 10% faster, but they deal 20% less damage to lane robots. When a tower kills a Brawler, XP goes to the whole team. Bases do 15% more damage overall and double that against enemy Brawlers, and XP gets shared with teammates when it lands a kill, too.

Mastery progression also gets a boost—Brawl Arena will now grant double Mastery points, helping players move up faster in ranks.

Overall, this patch brings a big shakeup to how Brawl Stars plays, especially inside the Arena. With the way stats scale now and the XP flow changes, players will need to rethink their tactics if they want to stay on top.
