In the recent Brawl Stars updates, many critical issues were addressed to enhance the gaming experience for players. First and foremost, a problem that led to the absence of Ranked Boost, Ranked Battle Cards, and Previous Ranked Season leaderboards within the game has been resolved.

They have also been working on another issue regarding Malicious Mandy’s absence in Ranked Starr Drops. This has reportedly been an issue among the players, and the team has released statements indicating that they will publish updates whenever they gather more information related to the same problem.

And last but not least, the developers have announced that these changes come at just the right time as the team is making the last balance changes ahead of the much-anticipated World Finals.

Character Buffs

  • Maisie

Against her relatively low health, she is set at the developers’ compromise for a more significant attack damage change to level up, from the initial setting of 1280 to 1400 at max, This would help give players a better impact in the game in case they are playing with Maisie and work towards making her well-balanced overall.

  • Mandy

Mandy’s projectile speed will rise on both of her basic and Super skills. Mandy’s base speed on her primary attack will be raised by 20% from 3500 to 4200, and the speed of her Super will be raised by 19% from 4200 to 5000. “In My Sights” Star Power’s projectile speed boost will be reduced by 4 % from 20 % to 16 %. The changes are intended to make Mandy balanced across the board, spreading out the potential impact of her Star Power.

  • Penny

Penny’s main attack range will now increase by 8%. So this comes from 24 to 26 tiles. That allows her to hit enemies safely from a distance, without needing her Super because it is launched with destructive cannon projectiles.

  • Squeak

Squeak will receive a 7% buff to maximize his strength in battle. His main attack goes from 1080 to 1160, which means he would be capable of causing more damage and thus can participate a lot more in team fights. This should make Squeak more formidable as players use him more strategically.

Character Nerfs

  • Chester

Chester will have his base HP reduced by 5%. What was 3700 for him now only stands at 3500. Its aim is towards being tankier in battle. Chester’s Bellomania Star Power will have his bonus damage reduced by a whopping 25%, coming from 200% but now standing at 150%. This balances out Chester’s overall power and usually means a fairer gameplay.

  • Daryll

Ever since the last balance adjustments, which allowed Darryl to use his Super twice every charge, many players have spammed the ability for area control and escapes. To curb over-spamming, Supercell is now taking away 27% Super charge from Darryl’s major attack. This will bring back more game stratification with other Brawlers, encouraging strategic gameplay instead of mindless spam.

  • Gale

This Super will have a 26% damage reduction, making it go from 820 to 600. This should take away from his ability to win matches when they’re critical. Second, his Hypercharge rate will go from 30% to 25%, meaning he can’t spam this action any longer with its great potential for damage, because it reinforces play that will use resources better.

  • Kenji

Kenji is the newest addition to Brawl Stars and has already made waves since coming out. His Hosomaki Healing Gadget is something that’s gotten everyone up in arms, although actual balance changes are still expected where healing drops to 50% from its current 75%. This should keep Kenji on parity and not dominate other Brawlers

  • Meg

Mecha, Meg’s alter form, will drop down in HP to 3500 from 4000. This is done especially with the focus on cutting down on her competitiveness in the Ranked Queue matches. Here, her durability has been viewed as too high. With lessening her health points, developers expect an equal chance at playtime.

  • Moe

Moe is going to be adjusted considerably to counterbalance him in competitive play. One of the key adjustments is in his Super charge rate, which is going to be reduced by 20%, which means that the opportunity of using his invincibility ability will be limited. This adjustment will ensure that players do not over-utilize his Super, thus requiring a more competitive approach. In addition, Moe’s damage for his main attack will be reduced by 10%, from 600 to 540, so this goes to reduce his offensive capabilities which decreases his efficiency in fighting.

  • Mortis

Lastly, Mortis will see his Hypercharge rate decrease by 20%, so it would go from 50% to 40%. It is said this is in order to adjust the balance of Mortis’s skill usage and make the players more tactical in using their skills.
