Boombl4 to become a rapper

After his kick from Natus Vincere and a public mud fight with his ex-wife Angelika “LiQueen” Mikhailova, many people have been wondering what the future holds for the Russian player. It looks like alongside his CS:GO career, Boombl4 also plans to do rap.

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov recently spoke about his current career plans. The ex-NAVI in-game-leader believes that the best option for him would be to join a European team. He posted his thoughts on Telegram:

“I wanted to address an issue on everyone’s mind – my new team. At the moment, I feel like one of the most difficult periods of my life is over. I have clear goals and demands on myself and my new team. Without a doubt, a good start to my story without NAVI would be a team from Europe. We’ll see which one it will be and how it all plays out. Betting on my transfer is great PR. The guy who came up with this idea is a genius, but I don’t support that.”

Boombl4’s rap career?

Boombl4 teased his fans on Telegram back in July, saying he’s “going to fly abroad to create something interesting,” but gave no further details regarding his journey. Because of the specific timing of the message, some assumed he was talking about joining G2 Esports. So far, however, there has been no roster move announcement from the organization. Now, Boombl4 shared that he wants to start doing rap.

He pointed out that it won’t hinder his CS:GO career and he will only do it for fun. He also previously posted photos from a studio and shared how he works on lyrics:

“The amount of people who supported me in June pushed me to new things. Contrary to your possible guesses, this does not affect my training, personal play and analysis of possible future opponents. I play, learn and improve what’s missing in my game with the same joy. But come on, people could write books about my story, so why not put a few bars on a beat for my own pleasure?”

s1mple doesn’t think G2 will take Boombl4

The ex-NAVI IGL is not alone in his foray into the music business. S1mple recently released a rap song that he recorded with his brother. He also also recently commented on Boombl4’s situation, saying that G2 won’t sign Boombl4 “as he knows him”. However, he added that “everything is in his hands”. Furthermore, s1mple also noted that he’s not saying this out of spite and that he’s just being honest and saying what he thinks.
