The Call of Duty League season may be just around the corner, however some significant changes have already occurred during the offseason. One of the biggest changes involves Rasim “Blazt” Ogresevic, who has retired from Call of Duty Esports in order to focus upon his streaming career.

Having played for the Los Angeles Guerrillas during the league’s inaugural season, the American was due to be without a team this year, which lead to his retirement. Rather than continuing his in the Black Ops Cold War scene, Blazt will move concentrate more on Warzone, however his main focus will be on content creation. The 21-year-old broke the news on his Twitter page.

Why an Increasing Number of CoD Pros Are Turning to Streaming

Blazt becomes the latest player to operate as a full-time Call of Duty Warzone streamer, stating that it was a “tough decision to make”. However, the popular personality is confident that the move will work out for him. Blazt arrived at the Los Angeles Guerrillas as a substitute, however he regularly found himself in their starting lineup, as a result of disappointing performances from others.

The Guerrillas were ultimately one of the most disappointing teams in the league, with perhaps only the Seattle Surge having been worse. Their bid to qualify for the season ending playoffs resulted in failure, with the organization having realized that they had to make changes ahead of the 2021 campaign.

Why Blazt Was Left Teamless Ahead of the 2021 CoD League Season

Los Angeles released all but one of its roster in September, including Blazt. With Vivid having been the only player remaining, Blazt was left with a decision to make. While others chose to battle it out in the Challengers division and other amateur events, this was seemingly not something in which Blaszt was keen on.

Blazt will stream concentrate on Warzone when streaming, with the title generally being more popular than Black Ops on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube. The American already has almost 100,000 followers on Twitch, giving him an excellent platform to build upon. Warzone is undoubtedly one of the best Battle Royale games around today, with Blazt having vast experience here too. It remains to be seen as to whether he would ever be tempted to return to CoD Esports, with this likely depending on how his career as a streamer pans out.
