The good news continues for the Fortnite competitive scene worldwide! BLAST, one of the world’s largest esports event organizers, announced the renewal of its partnership with Fortnite for this season, 2023. Thanks to this, it is now three years in a row that BLAST will organize the tournaments of the fabulous BR from Epic Games.
This partnership and the event that will be played at Gamers8 and RedBull Contested are more than clear proof that big brands and organizers continue to believe in the Fortnite competitive scene. In addition, this may make many organizations that decided to move away from the scene reconsider their decision.

Strong ties between BLAST and Epic
There is no doubt that this announcement makes us see how strong the ties between BLAST and Epic Games are. But first, we must remember that BLAST has organized all large-scale Fortnite events since 2021. After that, in 2022, it was the same way, and after two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, they managed to organize a face-to-face event in the United States last November.
There is no doubt that we all know the high level that BLAST has in terms of organizing large tournaments. For example, every year, we see how successful all their BLAST Premier circuit tournaments are in CS:GO. On the other hand, we have two years of watching how FNCS has taken off in a big way, and, in addition, they organize Dota 2, VALORANT, and FIFA tournaments.
Leo Matlock from BLAST mentions that extending the partnership for the third consecutive year shows how much the FNCS has grown during the first two years. He also points out that Major 1 was successful, and they are looking forward to an action-packed and exciting 2023.
