In this piece, we take a look at the recently concluded North American, European, and South American Open Qualifiers for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

Here’s a look at which teams have all progressed and will advance to the Closed Qualifiers.

North America RMR Open Qualifiers

Detonate, Mythic, Timbermen, and Strife are the four teams who advanced from the first BLAST.tv Paris North America RMR Open Qualifier. These teams successfully completed the single-elimination bracket (which consisted of three Bo1 rounds and a Bo3 series) and claimed a spot in the Closed Qualifier. Mythic celebrated a dominant win over Limitless, while Detonate were the second team to rise after their 2-0 win over Skriptovie.

Timbermen secured third place for the Closed Qualifier by beating Cartel Terraza 2-0. Strife secured last place by beating 4ORMULA 2-1. Strife secured their place in the fourth round after defeating Goomba Stomp in the previous round. Their third match was briefly played against FunMix, but the match was canceled and their previous win against Goomba Stomp was annulled because a player named “pawt” was banned for cheating during the third round match.

Both HEET and LDLC won their games against Nexus and the SINNERS respectively, so at least four French teams are represented in the two closed qualifiers.
