The BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 is scheduled to kick off on October 19, featuring 16 CS:GO teams, battling for a total prize pool of $135,000and a ticket to the Fall Final, Copenhagen in line. 

The Fall Showdown is the last BLAST Premier event before the BLAST Premier: World Final, in which the top eight CS:GO teams will battle for $1 million. The event is also the last chance for CS:GO teams to get into the Fall Finals. Here is all the information you need to know about the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022, including the teams, schedule, format, and prize money.

Blast Premier: Fall Showdown Format

The Fall Showdown follows a slightly different format than the prior Blast event. Since it is the sole chance for 16 teams to qualify for the Fall Finals, the tournament will kick off with the Playoff Stage. Teams from North America and Europe will participate in two separate tournaments, with the winners of each bracket advancing to the Fall Finals.

BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown

Three of the eight teams featured in BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2022 received direct invites based on their performance in Fall Finals, while the remaining five teams made it to the event with their success in the qualifiers.

 BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 

Although Evil Geniuses are the fan favorite entering the North American derby, 00Nation have the potential to outperform them anytime. Both teams exhibited impressive performances at the RMR, earning spots in the IEM Rio Major. On the other hand, MIBR just missed out on qualifying for the major and will be attempting to make amends at the Fall Showdown.

Team Vitality is the undisputed favorite for this tournament after winning the ESL Pro League Season 16 and will be carrying a great deal of momentum into the competition. Heroic and BIG also appeared in great form considering their performance at Road to Rio European RMR and Roobet Cup, respectively. Astralis, Eternal Fire, and ECSTATIC, on other hand, have to step up their game if they want to advance given their disappointing RMR performance that denied their entry into the RIo Major.
