Point Blank kills have made their way back into Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. To get the Mastery Camos like Gold and Singularity, you have to make more than 200 Point Blank kills using shotguns. Treyarch eliminated the old headshot requirement and replaced it with Point Blanks, and that has drawn complaints from lots of players regarding the new requirement for extra effort to get those kills. What About Point-Blank Kills in Black Ops 7?
A Point-Blank kill is defined as killing an enemy at the closest possible range. This means that the barrel of your gun is almost touching your enemy’s body. The game sometimes awards you one for a little further away, but the simple rule is: if you are so close that there is a chance of the enemy being hit by you, then it is a Point Blank for sure.

- Use Smoke Grenades often: Throw them in lanes or on objectives, then push through them and fire when you reach the enemy.

- Go ahead and slide or wall-jump when approaching an enemy character from the front.
