The Ballistic Knife, a gun originally featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops, has made its triumphant return in Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 1. This close-combat arm can also shoot blades that are retrievable. It does a lot of damage at very short range and is ideal for fast combat.
Black Ops 7 Ballistic Knife: What is It?
In Black Ops 7, the Ballistic Knife is categorized as “Melee / Melee-launcher” in weapons. It is a device that now can be used as a twin knife shooting machine. Blades that have been cast off can be picked up or you can even choose to take the Scavenger perk for more supply, so its application does not get limited to close range.

The weapon is not compatible with any attachment, but you can upgrade it to Level 30. When you reach the highest level, you will be able to unlock universal Prestige Camos such as Stinger (Prestige 1), Barbed (Prestige 2), and Elegant (Prestige Max).
How to Unlock the Ballistic Knife
In. Black Ops 7, the Ballistic Knife is among the rewards for the Week 1 Weekly Challenge at the beginning of Season 1. The following steps will grant you access to it:
- Get into the Weekly Challenges menu (Career → Challenges → Weekly Challenges).
- Pick any six challenges from the list and finish them. The challenges can be from Multiplayer, Zombies, Co-op Campaign, or Warzone. You are free to mix the modes.
- The Ballistic Knife becomes your Week 1 Loadout reward after completion of six challenges.
Your Week 1 Loadout reward will be the Ballistic Knife after completion of six challenges. If you happen to be away in Week 1, unclaimed rewards will be there until the season is over.

Challenges in Zombies, Co-op Campaign, and Warzone work the same. Completing challenges gives XP and helps rank up while unlocking the Ballistic Knife.
Shared Unlock Across Modes, Tips, & Ballistic Knife Prestige Camos
Unlocking the Ballistic Knife in Black Ops 7 also makes it available in Warzone, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Co-op Campaign. Progress in one mode counts for all modes.

- Mix modes: Complete challenges in different modes to use the mode you like.
- Prioritize easy challenges: Tasks like “kill your Nemesis 3 times” often happen while playing.
- Play steadily: You do not need to grind. Normal gameplay can complete most challenges.
The Ballistic Knife does not support attachments. However, you can reach level 30 with it and then go into the Weapon Prestige to collect universal Prestige Camo:
- Prestige 1: Stinger
- Prestige 2: Barbed
- Prestige Max: Elegant
These camouflages demonstrate your development with the Ballistic Knife. The melee and ranged aspect of the Ballistic Knife in Black Ops 7 and Warzone is one of its features. It is necessary to complete six Weekly Challenges in Season 1 to get access to it. The progress is counted in all the modes. Upon unlocking, the knife is available for use in all modes, and prestige levels can be gained through upgrading the knife.
