For the second time ever, Activision made it possible for gamers to buy two titles from the same subseries in a row. The first was the Modern Warfare reboot, which ended with mixed opinions over Modern Warfare 3’s campaign and Zombies. Now, the Black Ops franchise replicates it, offering gamers Black Ops 6 in 2024 and Black Ops 7 in 2025.

BO6 provided a solo campaign that happened in the late Cold War and Desert Storm era, and players had a Safehouse where they could make dialogue choices and upgrade their assets.
