The Suspenseful Start
The first game was a true tug of war between the two teams, many viewers have remarked that the game felt like the 5th game of the series, which makes sense as the tension and uncertainty was present throughout the whole game. The Fnatic’s Reckoning
The second game had Fnatic come into full force. Despite the tragic loss of the first game, they have managed to secure a textbook victory over G2 this time. The game burned slowly until G2 made a couple of small mistakes which Fnatic did a great job of converting to a win. The main star of the match was Humanoid, with a stomping Smolder performance.

The Late Game Difference
The ban phase of the third game has finished with a Smolder ban, which was called for and expected by the whole League of Legends community. As the game started playing out, people started suspecting G2, as Fnatic was slowly building a lead. However, the lead was quickly burned in the early game, where Caps made some game-defining counter plays. The game concluded with another G2 victory, and many Fnatic fans expressed their disappointment with Ocars’ performance in the game.
The Final Game
The fourth game of the finale has started quite well for Fnatic. They were able to hold their ground all the way up to the mid-game, even scoring some pretty nice gold leads at times. However, everything came crashing down as both teams were contesting the drake.

G2 Mikxy found a beautiful engage with Rell. The whole team was able to follow up, and the most significant ally was Yike on Brand, who scorched the entire enemy team forcing them to retreat and give up a Mountain dragon.
After the fight was concluded the game was a smooth sailing for G2, they have slowly extinguished Fnatic by pushing them out of the map, and taking all the objectives.
The MVP Carry
Hans Sama has shown splendid performance in the current LEC which has lead to him obtaining the MVP title for the tournament. This is another major achievement for the person who has managed to score 7 LEC titles!
In Conclusion
The G2 has managed to dominate yet another LEC finale and secure another consecutive trophy. The first game of the matchup was definitely the most intense one, and there was no telling who would win until much later into the game.
The second game caught everyone by surprise, as FNC Humanoid was able to completely obliterate the opposition with his Smolder pick. Many have thought that might be the turning point for Fnatic, but the last two games have proven otherwise.
Despite playing extremely well in the early and mid-game, the difference in macro calls has decided the outcome in favor of G2, making them the champions of the latest LEC tournament!
