BetBoom’s Pure reaches 13K MMR and becomes second best Dota 2 player

Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko from BetBoom Team is the second Dota 2 player to officially reach an MMR of 13,000. He is the second player to achieve this stat after Talon Esports’ Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon!

23savage managed to reach this milestone in December as the first Dota 2 player ever. And that too in a region where it was probably the most difficult to collect MMR. He is now followed by Pure, who has played over 56 matches in the past week on his Main and Smurf accounts and achieved a 54% win rate according to the Dota 2 Pro Tracker. Who will be the third player with an MMR of 13,000?

Pure reaches milestone as second player

BetBoom player Pure is officially following in the footsteps of 23savage and has become the second Dota 2 player ever to break the 13,000 mark in matchmaking rating. In some regions, other pros are still struggling to reach at least 12,000 MMR.

Pure is currently competing in the Eastern Europe Dota Pro Circuit (EEU DPC) but apparently likes to grind ranked as well. Sharing his success on social media, he said:

“There’s only one rule in the jungle: if the lion is hungry, he eats!”

In his ranked games, the player spammed Lina, Bloodseeker & Weaver above all and achieved the most successful win rate with Lina at 85.7%. In the European Dota 2 leaderboards, Pure currently tops the leaderboard ahead of Entity’s carry Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov and his teammate Danil “gpk” Skutin.

BetBoom tops the league with Pure

The carry sits at the top of the EEU DPC league with his new team BetBoom after beating Virtus.pro and HellRaisers. The team still has matches against Team Spirit and Darkside to come, but many are convinced that BetBoom Team, with their top player Pure, can qualify for the upcoming Lima Major if it does happen. There are currently political riots in Peru, which has resulted in a state of emergency being declared in the city. This puts the first major in South America in danger.

In the Eastern Europe Qualifier for The International 2022, the team’s old roster managed to get first place, but in the main tournament itself it could only get 19th-20th place. In November, the organization completely ditched its old lineup and unveiled a new roster in December. With the new signings, the team is definitely showing that they have very high ambitions and with Pure they have a very good chance of achieving their goals. Hopefully Pure and his team can show off at the Lima Major on February 22nd!
