BetBoom Dacha Belgrade #2 is a CS2 tournament scheduled to take place between August 25 – September 1. It will bring together 12 strong teams and six of them have already been announced. With $500.000 in prize money, this event will surely attract a lot of top competitors.
The First Six Invited Teams
Here are the first six teams that were announced by FISSURE, the organizer of the tournament:
- Team Spirit
- MOUZ
- Virtus.pro
- BetBoom Team
- FURIA Esports
- Aurora Gaming
Most of these teams have had great results in 2024, so it’s not a big surprise that they received direct invitations.

Team Spirit
Spirit won two S-tier trophies this year. One at IEM Katowice and another at BLAST Premier Spring Final. At lots of other tournaments they were in the top eight, top four, or even 2nd.
Even if we ignore that they have two of the world’s best CS2 players, donk and sh1ro, Spirit fully deserved their invite and will likely finish the tournament in the top four.
MOUZ
MOUZ are currently ranked 3rd globally and that is enough to earn them a direct invitation to this event. Given the relatively small number of teams that can realistically beat them, at the very least they should reach the semifinals.
Virtus.pro
VP are not very good at winning tournaments but they are quite good at getting to their playoffs stage. However, because of the format, this time it will be a bit harder than usual. There are four groups of four teams and only two teams will advance out of each group.
BetBoom Team
BetBoom are always invited to BetBoom events because their sponsor is BetBoom. This team is currently ranked 21st, so they’re not complete outsiders. But you shouldn’t expect them to impress.
FURIA Esports
FURIA are the best team in Brazil at the moment and their global rank is 15th. This is a competitor that has the potential to do very well at an event like this. At YaLLa Compass, FURIA finished 3rd – 4th. At the Esports World Cup, they were 5th – 8th.
A lot will depend on who they’ll need to play against in the group stage but in principle, FalleN’s squad should advance to the playoffs.
Aurora Gaming
Aurora Gaming is ranked 18th at the moment and most of the team’s players still need to prove themselves. Arguably, the chances that this competitor will advance to the playoffs are quite low.
