- You can catch Riolu on the rooftop in Rouge Sector 4 during daytime. To evolve Riolu into Lucario, you need a high friendship and then level it up during the day.
- You also get a Lucario as a gift: after completing Main Mission 37, there’s one in your Hotel AZ room on the table.
- To Mega Evolve, you must give Lucario the Lucarionite, which you can buy from Quasartico Inc. after Mission 10.

- You can find Hawlucha on the roofs in Lumiose City, by Restaurant Le Yeah, after you have completed Side Mission 4: “A Break Time Battle” to get access to the Holovator. You’ll have to battle a worker in Wild Zone 3 to fix the lift, and after that you’ll have direct access to the roofs where Hawlucha appears.
- To get the Mega Stone for Hawlucha ( Hawluchanite) you have to defeat a Rogue Mega Hawlucha during Main Mission 17.
