The popular battle royale title and esports mobile game of the year, PUBG Mobile, has released its music label named Beat Drop.

PUBG Mobile, which has already established itself in the music industry, has now released its label Beat Drop. The new music label, which goes by the name “PUBG MOBILE OFFICIAL,” is accessible on nearly all of the top music streaming services, including Spotify, Amazon Music, and iTunes. The term “Beat Drop” refers to an airplane container drop in the PUBG Mobile itself that supplies players with armor, weapons, ammunition, and healing.

With the new label, gamers can enjoy music from incredible and upcoming artists around the world as well as tracks created with renowned icons that will set the standard for the genre and enhance their gaming experience. The Beat Drop will soon feature a new song produced by Mexican producer and musician Mariana BO, according to a previous announcement from PUBG Mobile. The release date was not provided, though.

PUBG adds one more to its list of musical treats

The launch marks a new stage in PUBG Mobile’s expansion strategy, which aims to transform the gaming and entertainment industries for players. PUBG Mobile has previously collaborated with several popular musicians including Alan Walker and BLACKPINK and even created its soundtracks. The collaboration between PUBG Mobile and BLACKPINK led to two in-game music events which were introduced in the game in the past two years.

BLACKPINK is a South Korean female pop band, which is popular around the globe for its hit music albums like Born Pink and The Album. The K-pop band presented their single music “Ready For Love” at an in-game event held by PUBG called “The Virtual.” Over 15.7 million people watched the collaboration’s concert globally, and it ultimately took home the MTV Video Music Award for Best Metaverse Performance.

The gaming and music industries continue to grow together

A growing number of esports event sponsors are also relying on music to boost their marketing campaigns. Additionally, well-known record companies like Sony Music and Warner Music have agreements in place with the European teams MAD Lions and Giants Gaming, respectively, as they acknowledge the potential of the gaming industry. European organization Fnatic also released its label named Fnatic Island Vol.1 last month. In the meantime, organizations like G2 and LOUD view music as a crucial component of their corporate strategy as they strive to crossover esports with the finest music to become a cultural phenomenon.
