The tournament break following the conclusion of the internationals 2024 is already over after only about a week. The start of the next season’s tournament was already announced and is now in the stages of completing its list of Dota 2 teams.
The BB Dacha Belgrade 2024 is an event hosted by FISSURE—in this first tier one tournament of the season, we will see the new changes done by each Dota 2 team. From the echoes of news about top teams like the previously held TI13’s champions Team Liquid’s roster changes, to teams that announced that they will be participating with a temporary setup just for this tournament—we eagerly await what manner of events would unfold in the dawn of this season’s first major tournament.
BetBoom Dacha When and Where?
The BB Dacha Belgrade 2024 is set to be on October 19 to 26 at Belgrade, Serbia. This will mark the start of the new season’s major leagues. Much is yet to be announced for certain regarding this event such as the hosts, reporters, analysts, and commentators.
There could still be possible major changes as the tournament is just shaping up. Eyes are all open for more announcements and updates regarding this Dota 2 professional event.
Prize Pool and Tournament Format
With a total prize pool of 1,000,000 USD, the BB Dacha Belgrade 2024 will feature a group stage and the playoffs.
The group stage will be divided in two groups with six teams each. The Dota 2 teams within each group will face off in a single round-robin with each series having two games. After this trial, the top 4 teams of both group A and B will be advancing to the playoffs.
The playoffs will be held with a double-elimination bracket with all matches being best of two’s except the grand final that will be fought with best of five mode.
BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 Confirmed Teams
Dota 2’s BB Dacha Belgrade 2024 will be competed by a total of 12 teams. Five of these are the directly invited teams that made the top ranks at the recent tournament—this includes the current champions. Qualifiers will be held to get another five teams from the top one of each region: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Americas, and China. The last two Dota 2 teams will be given a direct invite.
