A New Era for Sentinels
Sentinels displayed amazing performance for the 2024 season that had people’s attention on their team. They dominated the VCT Americas Kickoff and Masters Madrid yet fell short in the VCT Champions 2024. Despite this, the offseason persists to be challenging as the team faces the retirement of their two star players. Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi depart from the competitive team after a long history of competing.
With this, the Sentinels were left with no other choice than to find someone to fill in their position. Thus, the situation led to the recruitment of bang and N4RRATE into the team for their experience and talents. These players held impressive track records in their competitive VALORANT scene that made them the best for their position.
Bang: From 100 Thieves to Sentinels
Sean “bang” Bezerra’s stint with 100 Thieves ended after two years of victories and defeats. This 20-year-old Controller specialist bagged hundreds of experiences as he competed at the highest levels of North American VALORANT in 2021. His career highlight stood out as he participated in the 2022 VCT Champions in Istanbul and eventually secured a title at Stage 1 of the 2023 VCT Americas.
He is expected to fill in the role of TenZ’s in the team. With that, it placed heavy pressure on his shoulder, as TenZ is known for his superb plays and clutch. However, the team also has great confidence in him with his proven record and familiarity in the NA competitive scene.
N4RRATE: From EMEA to NA
Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey travels the ocean to fulfill an adventure with Sentinels for the 2025 VCT season. The American player established his competitive career in the EMEA region upon joining the roster of MAD Lions. He further shines through for his performance with Karine Corp. This summarized his exceptional performance in the region that extends in the EMEA Kick-off tournament. Due to this, his name gained more attention from the community, including the Sentinels.
N4rrate stood out for his flexibility and prowess on Initiator agents compared to his competitors. In his new journey, he’ll be stepping up to play the previous role of Sacy in the team. With this, many are expecting a lot from his performances in the upcoming tournaments.
Reduxx: A Rising Star in Reserve
His stint on the main roster may be brief, but he already displayed praiseworthy performance during the Red Bull Home Ground tournament. With his contribution, the team finished second to Cloud9 for a contention to qualify. Yet, the 2025 VCT season seems to be harsh, as he won’t be joining the starting lineup. The 17-year-old player, Yassin “reduxx” Aboulalazm, will be on the roster as a substitute for the team. This will help in gaining the experience he needed to be tougher in the tournaments.
