TEKKEN developers have unveiled the TEKKEN World Tour 2023 schedule. BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America has finally released all the information about the events that will be held this year. Now all the fans know the schedule of the TEKKEN Challenger Tournament and TEKKEN Master Tournament 2023.

All about TEKKEN World Tour 2023

This year’s TEKKEN tournaments will be held in style. A total of 14 tournaments will be held throughout the year; nine will be Masters events, and the other five will be Challenger events.

The tournament tour includes:

  • Evo Japan 2023
  • Masters at the North American CEO 2023
  • The MIXUP 2023 – Round 5 in Lyon
  • Evo 2023 in Las Vegas
  • Combo Breaker Chicago
  • Punishment 2 in La Paz, Bolivia
  • Battle Arena Melbourne 13
  • VS Fighting XI in the UK
  • FIGHTERS SHOWDOWN 2023 in Delhi, India

With a large number of TEKKEN LAN tournaments, the popularity of TEKKEN around the world is evident. TEKKEN is considered to be one of the best FGC titles that have been released to date. Other popular titles in the same category are Street Fighter and Super Smash Bros.

Both games also feature big tournaments; it was recently announced that for the Capcom Pro Tour Street Fighter tournament, the prize pool is $ 2 million.

TEKKEN World Tour Tournament Format

All Tour points will be distributed among each tournament held throughout the year.

The top 33 finishers in the Masters will receive points, while only the top 17 finishers in the Challengers will receive points.

However, the top 49 players in the Masters+ will receive points. In that case, for the TEKKEN World Tour 2023 World Finals, only the top players in the world rankings will attend.

Challenger tournaments, on the other hand, will also be held around the world, with competitions in:

According to the information released by the game developers, other tournaments will be held during 2023. However, the information will be released at a later date. Furthermore, the announcement does not mention whether these events will belong to the Challenger or Master tournaments.

TEKKEN Dojo Events

On the other hand, we have good news, TEKKEN Dojo events are returning for this year’s tour. For all offline event organizers, you can apply for your tournament to be recognized as a Dojo; if it is accepted, the best players can receive points. Of course, this will depend on the number of players participating in such tournaments.

The TEKKEN World Tour 2023 prize purse has not yet been revealed. However, all players look forward to participating in the fifth edition of the TEKKEN World Tour 2023.
