Arena of Valor Premier League 2025 is going to be hosted in Bangkok, Thailand. The action will begin on June 26, 2025. This year, Garena is making the event much bigger with the Wildcard round coming back and a total $500,000 prize money waiting to be claimed by the best teams.
Schedule and Format of APL 2025
The event is going to start on June 26 and will have 16 teams who come from different regions. The whole competition will be split in two major parts – Swiss Stage and Playoffs.
- Swiss Stage:
From June 26 to 29 and then again July 2 to 6, the Swiss stage will take place. All teams will play five rounds, and the matches will be between teams who got same kind of results. There won’t be any protection for teams from same region, so they can end up against each other. Except deciding matches, all games are Best-of-3 (BO3). - Playoffs:
After getting 3 wins, teams will move into Playoffs, which will start on July 10. This stage is following double-elimination, so one loss doesn’t mean you’re out. First round will be BO5, while rest of the games will be BO7. Also, Global Ban Pick rules will be active, adding more to the strategy part.
