Arena Breakout Infinite Season 2 Patch Notes: New Extraction System, LTMs, and more

fragster James Steward 11. July 2025

Season 2 of Arena Breakout Infinite has already gone live, and it’s bringing in a lot of updates that change how the game feels. There have been some major tweaks to the core gameplay, new content added like game modes and maps, and a few event-based features to shake things up. It looks like the developers are aiming to make things feel more unpredictable and fresh for players this time around.

Arena Breakout Infinite Season 2 Patch Notes

Random Extractions and Retrieval Device Overhaul

Probably the biggest shift in this patch is how the extraction points work now. Instead of going to the same place every time, players will be given a random exit point when they enter the raid. But just reaching the spot isn’t enough, you gotta meet some conditions before you can extract.

Also, the Retrieval Device has been changed a bit. Now, it only appears in the main mode and Solo Ops. There’ll be a few of these devices scattered around the map. Once a player fulfills the requirement, they can just use any one of them and get out with their loot automatically.

Main Mode Updated, New Additions in Multiplayer Arena

The update also reintroduces the Farm: Forbidden Zone into the main rotation. For Multiplayer Arena, two new gameplay options are added: Arsenal and Arsenal Shuffle. A brand-new map called Northridge: Sewage Plant is also introduced here.

On top of that, there’s now a kill cam feature, which means once a player is taken out, the game switches to show who killed them. The airdrop system is also made simpler, no more searching after opening it, everything is right there.

Duos Mode Debuts, Special Ops Maps, and Schedule Tweaks

Duos Mode gets added to the mix, but it only unlocks at Level 24. This mode will rotate maps weekly between Northridge: Lockdown Zone and Farm: Lockdown Zone, only during weekends.

There are more updates for Special Ops, too. Ambush Mode now includes TV Station: Central Control Area and Northridge: Northridge Hotel maps. As for Solo Ops, it’s now unlocked at Level 30 and is marked under Forbidden Zone. This mode also rotates maps every week, between the TV Station and Northridge.

Weekly Multiplayer Modes Schedule Changed

Multiplayer content also got some scheduling adjustments to balance availability:

  • Team Elimination: Available Friday to Sunday (UTC+0)
  • Team Deathmatch, Arsenal, and Arsenal Shuffle: One of these will be active each weekend, and they rotate weekly
  • Secure Ops: Always open daily, with map rotation between TV Station and Armory
  • Solo Ops: Daily access too, switching between TV Station and Northridge
  • Duos Mode: Only on weekends, map rotation between Northridge and Farm

With all the new mechanics, maps, and shifting schedules, Arena Breakout Infinite Season 2 is aiming to make things more dynamic and less predictable for players. For the full breakdown and fine details, the official patch notes are live on the game’s website.
