The second season of the Arcane series, based on the world of League of Legends, also brings great news to Riot Games’ MOBA for players. In addition to the new champion Ambessa, League of Legends will receive, in November, a completely Arcane-themed map for the ARAM mode, with a completely different look, new missions and also some changes in gameplay.
The map brings references to the confrontation between Piltover and Zaun, putting players to face each other on the “Bridge of Progress”, an important reference point in the series and in the history of both cities. In addition to the new look, changes in gameplay such as changes to the “snowball” summoner spell, a new side lane, and we will also have nemesis and rival missions themed for champions that appear in Arcane, such as: Vi and Warwick, Jayce and Viktor, Singed and Heimerdinger, Jinx and Caitlyn and Jinx and Ekko.
The map was very well received by the League of Legends gaming community, who on social media and in the comments of the map announcement video on Riot Games’ official YouTube channel, praised the idea and creation of the new feature.

Arcane Map Will Be the First Based on Other Regions of Runeterra
Speaking on the subject, Eduardo Cortejoso, Riot Games’ Mode Production Lead, explains: “Our team has always thought that ideas would work harder to bring Runeterra’s environments to the game. We haven’t shown players the chance to play in Piltover or Zaun specifically (and many other areas, for that matter) yet… So why not now, at the start of Season 2?”
