ARC Raiders Patch 1.24.0 Fixes Crashes, Visual Bugs, and Audio Issues

fragster James Steward 15. April 2026

Embark Studios has released ARC Raiders update 1.24.0, a stability-focused patch that addresses a range of technical issues across crashes, visuals, audio, and interaction bugs. The update does not introduce new content but targets consistency improvements ahead of the upcoming Riven Tides update.

Crash Fixes and Core Stability

The patch resolves several issues that could cause client crashes, making it one of the more immediately impactful fixes for players experiencing session interruptions. Alongside crash prevention, the update addresses a server-side audio bug on the Stella Montis map where players and ARC enemies could sound quieter than intended when no line of sight was present — a problem that affected situational awareness in a game where audio cues play a significant tactical role.

Visual and Animation Corrections

A cosmetic-related bug caused the Vanguard Set to produce model stretching visible to other players, which has now been corrected. Players using AMD FSR Frame Generation also encountered blurry visuals, an issue that has been resolved in this patch.

Interaction and Movement Bug Fixes

Two interaction edge cases are addressed in 1.24.0. Players who interrupted a quick slot swap by pressing the fire key could inadvertently trigger hold-to-use items like bandages automatically — a bug that could waste consumables at critical moments. A separate edge case involving zipline placement has also been fixed, specifically a situation where ziplines could be deployed on carriable objects positioned at ledge edges when the player was positioned below that ledge.

Project Reward Notice and Upcoming Expiry

Embark used the patch notes to flag an outstanding reward issue for players who contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project but were unable to complete it before the deadline. Those players are directed to check their in-game inbox over the coming days. The studio also reminded the community that the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update goes live, giving active players a time-sensitive window to finish their progress.

Steady Cadence Ahead of Riven Tides

Update 1.24.0 continues Embark’s pattern of regular maintenance patches between major content releases. With Riven Tides on the horizon, the team appears focused on ensuring the game’s technical foundation is solid before the next significant content drop lands.
