This mid-season patch will bring tweaks to Legends and weapons in order to reinvigorate the competitive side.
Legend Changes:
- For Ash, who’s been strong for a bit, she’ll be nerfed for balance.
- Mad Maggie is receiving buffs with new Tier 2 and Tier 3 upgrades and is seeing an overall change to her Riot Drill and Wrecking Ball abilities.
- Seer, who was hurting, is getting a small buff to improve his recon while keeping him in a balanced spot with the meta.
Weapon Adjustments:
- The Devotion lost its Turbocharger, meaning players will now have to use purple-tier attachments, and that will affect its utility in mid-range fights.
- The Bocek, Mastiff, and Peacekeeper all got some nerfs, meaning players will have to change their loadouts and strategies.
- There will be some extra hotfixes for the 30-30 Repeater and the Peacekeeper after launch because they are still wildly used.
Other Updates: there is a new event, there will be updates to the Wildcard playlist, and there are some changes to attachments and locked Hop-Ups, all of which are meant to shake up strategies in the second half of the season.
All in all, Season 26, Split 2, looks like a significant mid-season update in Apex Legends. Casual and pro players will have to buckle up and get ready to adapt to the new meta.
